Lifeline offers a way to put help and assurance at your fingertips. It is a remote
communications system that provides immediate access to at-home assistance during times of emergency or
need for personal support.
Lifeline is very easy to use. At home, subscribers have a lightweight, waterproof
personal help button that can be worn like a wristwatch or a pendant. If a subscriber needs assistance,
a press of the button connects him or her directly with a specialist at the Lifeline Support Center who
assesses the situation and provides reassurance or immediately sends the appropriate assistance. Depending
on the situation, this assistance may come from a nearby friend, ambulance service or the police.
