Wesbury greatly appreciates the support of its volunteers. Each year they contribute
thousands of hours of their time as they share their skills, talents and interests with our residents.
Our volunteer program consists of a team of dedicated men, women and students who
provide services such as: visiting with, reading to and writing for our residents; delivering resident
mail; escorting residents to and from activities, therapies and worship services; assisting with activity
programs; working in the gift shop or computer lab; sewing and mending clothing; sharing special musical
or other talents for resident enjoyment and more.

Sunset Auxiliary
The Sunset Auxiliary is a group of volunteers who make friends and raise funds for Wesbury United
Methodist Retirement Community.
Founded in 1954, the Auxiliary raises funds through annual membership dues and by
holding special events such as the Annual Chicken BBQ and Craft Fair and the Christmas Trees and More
Auction. The Auxiliary also operates the gift shop in Wesbury's health center.
